As a trans masculine fitness professional who has worked with queer and trans bodies for over six years I prioritise empathy in my practice.
I am the founder of Queer Running Club and TRANSCEND, co-founder of Pecs Education, co-founder of BEND Movement and I have been the Spitalfields lululemon running ambassador for two years. Each of these spaces prioritises safety for queer and trans people in sport.
As a coach I am sensitive to other people’s energy, I understand the fear that can exist around exercise, and I strive to build a deeper connection to the body. My knowledge of movement is intuitive and for this reason I train a mixture of strength and conditioning, olympic lifting, calisthenics, yoga, body building and running skills in order to progress my clients towards their goals. My background is in the arts, which means I am creative with my practice and know that there is no ‘one size fits all’ method of training.
My qualifications include:
- Active IQ: Personal trainer Level 3
- Active IQ: Fitness Instructor Level 2
- England Athletics: Coach in Running Fitness
- Leader in Running Fitness
- Strength and Conditioning Level 4
- Yoga Alliance: 250hr of Yoga Teacher Training
- Train Fitness: Olympic Lifting, Kettlebell Training
I train 121 clients in GYMPODS in Dalston, I charge £65 an hour. I also offer Small Group Personal Training sessions for 4 x queer and trans clients, £25 pp per hour in Fit East in Dalston.
